Brief description of the P.h.D. project:
Obesity is a nutritional disease that has been increasingly affecting pets in recent years. This study evaluates a low-calorie diet combined with a nutraceutical supplement in 20 obese cats. Over 20 weeks, cats will be monitored for weight, blood markers, and behavior. The goal is to see if the supplement improves metabolic and antioxidant profiles, especially during the maintenance phase, to aid long-term obesity management.
