Brief description of the P.h.D. project:
The research project is part of the larger PNNR Agritech project, Spoke 5. The aims is to find field diagnostic instruments that can readily establish the possible presence of mastitis in dairy cattle not only clinically, but also subclinically and chronically, and to evaluate individual cases for which pharmacological treatment would be appropriate. To achieve the purpose, it was decided to evaluate the use of mammary cistern ultrasonography and portable blood gas analyzer.
