Brief description of P.h.D project:
My PhD project is focused on mitochondrial genome of diverse animal taxa, including mollusca and insects, analyzed with a bioinformatic approach. My studies are especially oriented on comparative genomics, structural genomics and phylogenetics, with the aim to characterize mitogenomes and to finally produce phylogenetics trees. Besides in silico methods, I also work on DNA extraction of various taxa.
