Brief description of the P.h.D. project:
The PhD project focuses on assessing the toxic effects of PFAS contamination in freshwater ecosystems. Using wild mosquitofish (Gambusia holbrooki) as a bioindicator species, it examines molecular responses through RNA-Seq analysis to understand environmental exposure and support effective risk assessment.
